RRR review - An another SSR mark film.

Finally, the day is here. Bahubali director SS Rajamouli's new movie is here. "RRR - ROUDRAM RANAM RUDHIRAM " is here. With two big tollywood stars in lead characters, with bollywood super stars in important roles, with other well known artists and with exceedingly large promotions, Rajamouli's RRR is released today in theatres. It is released in over 10,000 screens all over the world in telugu, Hindi, tamil, kannada, malayalam languages. This one is made with a lavishing budget in a grandeur way. It is produced by DVV Danayya. Music by MM Keeravani. Let's see if it is reached the expectations of audience.

Story -
This one is set in 1920s. A tribal girl is kidnapped by british people. Bheem (NTR) is a tribal leader. Ramraju (RAM CHARAN) is a police officer under british government, who is in search for bheem. In the process british arrests both bheem and ramraju one after another. Why they arrested both of them? How they rescue the tribal girl? How they revolt against the british? forms the rest of the story.

Thumbs up's -
After watching the movie, first appreciation goes to the director of this magnum opus SS Rajamouli for the way he directed the movie.
NTR as bheem done an electrifying job. He lived in his character. Even he has less scenes when compared to the other lead (Ramcharan), he will made the audience  forgot that with his performance.
Ramcharan as rama raju gave an powerful performance as police officer. Both NTR and RAMCHARAN given their best and they carried emotions in easy way.
Coming to other star cast Ajay devagn, shriya sharan  both delivered a good performance. Team didn't showed Olivia that much in trailers and teasers, but she delivered a great performance. Coming to alia bhatt, even though the role didn't suit for her she did a decent performance.
Natu Natu song, Fights & action episodes are choreographed & shot well. MM keeravani's music is soul of this film.

Thumbs down -
Movie plot is given lesser preference as they showcased Ntr and ram charan only. There is no room for other actors too. Second half is very low when compared to the first half except the climax. Audience feels lag in both halfs of the movie because of some routine flashback scenes, comedy scenes and some other stuff. Run time is another drawback for some kind of audiences.
Rajamouli is known  for his hero - villain combination. He elevates villain as he as does for hero. But here will we miss that strong villain.

Technical aspects -
MM keeravani elevated the movie in next level with his music as usual. Senthil's camera work is outstanding, because of the way he shot those visuals. Production values are top notch as we feel that grandeur in every scene. Production design and VFX are good and CGI is okay.

Verdict -
A Rajamouli mark movie with heavy elevations and emotions. A great first half and okayish second half with good climax. It can be great one time watch for general audience and repeatable for fans.

Rating - 3.5/5
