Rudramambapuram is a new addition to the telugu OTT. Popular actor Ajay Gosh played main role in this film and what's interesting is he himself wrote the script for this one. This movie is available now in Disney plus hotstar. Even the there are no promotions for this film they managed to attract the audience with trailer. Let's see how it is...!

Thumbs up -
First and mostly, have to appreciate Ajay Gosh for his acting. we know how he do the things. In this you will find more like a loyal person, a loving father, a businessman and obviously the negative shade of him is major plus. He impresses the audience with his performance. And a fact so many don't know is he himself Penned the story of this film. Another person who we can appreciate is subhodayam subbarao garu played as shivaiah. His performance as a leader and a well-wisher is good.
Since everyone in this movie are newcomers.. we really don't remember them. But in the backstory portions you'll find some reality and one will slowly connects with some points and emotions.
Thumbs down -
It's a story that will definitely connected by people. But because of the poor direction and screen play we don't connect to the movie mostly except for some parts. It could have been narrated more effectively.
The love story is not at all watchable. Looks like they're forcefully attached scenes just to add some points to the movie. It didn't work out well. Generally, in movies we find present scenarios are more engaging than flashback stories here it is completely opposite. The flashback is more engaging then present scenarios ( if comparison comes to play). 60 percent of the movie is occupied by flashback only. Rest of the film failed to carry that moments which are in first half. Editor could have done a good job if he trimmed more. Lack of noted actors and lack of promotions affected the fate of the movie.
Technical Aspects -
Music by vengi and cinematography by sudhakar reddy are average. As said earlier, editor could have done a good job by trimming more but he failed in doing that. production values are okay.
The director failed in handling the film. So many unnecessary scenes and the screen play in second half had changed the movie fate. It could have been better if the took more care about the film.
Verdict -
Rudramambapuram is a director's failure.
Except for the performances of ajay gosh and Shivaiah role there is nothing engaging. If you have patience and time then go for it ( we feel like watching a long serial).
