A combination that no one expected to get on floors.. but they do came together to give a mass experience on screen. Skanda is written and directed by boyapati seenu starring ram pothineni, sreeleela as lead cast and Srikanth, prabhakar, prince, saiee manjrekar and others in supporting roles. The film is bankrolled by srinivas chitturi and Pavan kumar. Music by thaman and cinematography by santosh. Since it is a combination no one expected, audience expections are high because of the content they released. Let's whether they met the expectations or not...! 
Story -
It starts with a court scene where Rudrakanti Ramakrishna Raju (Srikanth) get's a death sentence. In parallel, the chief minister's of both telugu states gets in trouble and along with that their both daughters gets kidnapped. On the other hand, Bhaskar (Ram pothineni) a guy from a small village who completed his education in Stanford University but he wants to live in his village with parents. How these are all related and why Srikanth gets a death sentence? Is the movie.

Ever since the starting of his career we didn't saw ram doing a proper mass role except jagadam. Now he pulled both characters easily and obviously he made some mark with his action and manerism.
Sreeleela is as cute as always and she also pulled this role neatly and Audience knows that she delivered her vocals for a song in this movie. Audience can enjoy this jodi by watching their chemistry and dance. Other notable actors did their best to justify their characters.
Dialogues are well written and some are relevant to present days scenario. Gandarbai song and pub song are good.

In general, in boyapati movies expecting logics is a crime. In this movie, even some action blocks looks realistic but some are logicless and we can clearly see the inaccuracies in fight scenes.
Movie length might be a negative for some audience but one won't get bored.
Movie casting could have been better. Expressions of some actors while portraying anger expressions looks like they're having some constipation issues.
Narration could have been better. we get to know the actual story in second half only because of this one may think first half story is completely different to another half.
Sreeleela didn't get enough space in this movie.
There are some loose ends in the movie which are not cleared
Technical Aspects -
Production values are good and design could've been better. Some Dialogues are well written and they're whistle worthy. Music is just okay expected more from thaman. Cinematography is better but in some scenes it's poor. Coming to director boyapati seenu, he did his usual job nothing new. It's a typical boyapati movie and expecting logics in his movies is obviously a crime.
Verdict -
On whole, skanda is a typical and routine boyapati mass movie don't expect anything new. But you can watch it for this rapoboya combo which worked in majority of the movie.
